A host material has a chemical formula of Ca2Zn(1-y-0.5z)MzSi(2-0.75x)AlxO(7-y), wherein x is equal to 0.05-0.15, y is equal to 0.01-0.10, z is equal to 0.01-0.10, and M is Na or K; the auxiliary materials comprise zinc phosphate and aluminum phosphate powder. The green luminescence materials account for 90-93wt%, and the auxiliary materials account for 3-10wt%. The green glowstone is directly prepared by adopting a high-temperature calcining process. After the green glowstone is subjected to ultraviolet light irradiation for 15 minutes, bright green glow emitted by the glowstone can be observed in a darkroom, afterglow time can reach 12 hours or longer due to visual inspection, and the appearance and luminous effect can exceed those of natural legendary luminous pearls after grinding and polishing.
