The invention provides a steel rail clamping tongs device adopting hydraulic control. The steel rail clamping tongs device comprises a hydraulic drive unit on the upper portion and a clamping tongs unit on the lower portion. The hydraulic drive unit completes drive of the clamping tongs unit through a connection rod. The hydraulic drive unit comprises a piston rod. The clamping tongs unit comprises a clamping tong seat, a pair of jaw tongs and adjusting blocks. The piston rod is rotationally connected with the adjusting block through the connection rod. The adjusting blocks are rotationally connected with the jaw tongs through pin shafts. The jaw tongs are rotationally connected with the clamping tongs seat through a pin shaft. When the piston rod conducts linear movement under drive of hydraulic oil, through the three rotation connection pairs, the jaw tongs are driven to be open or closed, and then a steel rail is clamped or released.
