The invention discloses a detergent composition and application thereof. The detergent composition is prepared from the following components: (A) N-long chain fattyacyl glycine and/or salt thereof; (B) N-long chain fattyacyl methyltaurine and/or salt thereof, wherein the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) ranges from (80 to 20) to (20 to 80), preferably from (60 to 40) to (40 to 60).
