Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides an e-book reading method and apparatus, and a computer device. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-read payment chapter in an e-book; judging whether the paymentchapter is in an unlocking and non-expiration state or not; if the payment chapter is in a non-unlocking or unlocking expiration state, obtaining waiting time of the payment chapter; when the waitingtime is greater than or equal to a preset time threshold, allocating a borrowing coupon for the payment chapter, and resetting the waiting time; and deducting the borrowing coupon, unlocking the payment chapter, displaying contents of the payment chapter, and setting a state of the payment chapter as the unlocking and non-expiration state. By providing a borrowing coupon unlocking mode and a waiting time unlocking mode, the price of single chapters is reduced, so that a user can easily read chapters which the user wants to read, the reading experience of the user is improved, the user is easily reserved, and the e-boo
