Display unit structure and method for forming the same

The invention provides a display unit structure and a method for forming the same. The display unit structure includes a first polarizer and a second polarizer which are spaced from each other and a liquid crystal layer configured therebetween, and red (R), green (G) and blue (B) sub-pixels are defined. A color substrate structure is configured on the second Polarizer, a plurality of concave cavities or recessed are formed in the color substrate structure, containing a first concave cavity or recess aligned with the red (R) sub-pixels and a second concave cavity or recess aligned with the green (G) sub-pixels. The first concave cavity or recess is filled with red quantum dots or quantum rod material, and the second concave cavity or recess is filled with green quantum dots or quantum rod material. A filter layer is partially configured in a position adjacent to the first concave cavity or recess and the second concave cavity or recess. According to the technical scheme proposed by theinvention, patterned quan
