Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses an intelligent control device and method for an endless rope pressing wheel. A signal collecting unit is used for collecting approaching or leaving signals of an endless rope tail strop mine car and sending the collected signals to a data processing unit. The data processing unit is connected with the signal collecting unit. The data processing unit is used for processing the approaching signals, collected by the signal collecting unit, of the endless rope tail strop mine car into a first control instruction, processing the leaving signals of the endless rope tail stropmine car into a second control instruction and sending the control instructions to a control unit.
