The vehicle-mounted image processing method comprises the steps of obtaining a synthetic aperture radar image of a target object; matching the synthetic aperture radar image of the target object with pre-stored synthetic aperture radar images; and in the case of successful matching, determining an object recognition result corresponding to the synthetic aperture radar image of the target object according to a corresponding relation between the pre-stored synthetic aperture radar images and object recognition results.
