Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses preparation for a nanoparticle type cuprous sulfide azo dye adsorbent and a method for processing azo dye wastewater. The preparation method comprises the following steps: ultrasonically dissolving a copper source into ethylene glycol to obtain a copper source solution, dissolving a sulfur source into ethylene glycol under stirring to obtain a sulfur source solution, movingthe copper source solution into a four-necked flask with different atmospheres, placing the four-necked flask into an oil bath pan, introducing circulating water into the four-necked flask, performing heating, after set temperature is achieved, slowly adding the sulfur source solution dropwise into the four-necked flask, controlling the temperature, and keeping the temperature for a period of time to obtain the nanoparticle type cuprous sulfide azo dye adsorbent. The processing method disclosed by the invention can be used for removing an azo dye in the wastewater, wherein the capacity of adsorbing Congo red is 250 m
