The invention discloses a counterweight guide rail connecting device for an elevator. The two ends of a guide rail cushion board are correspondingly inserted into counterweight guide rails which are to be connected and are fixedly connected or detachably connected with the counterweight guide rails. The guide rail cushion board is fixedly connected with base plates of the counterweight guide railsthrough bolts. The two ends of a connecting plate are correspondingly arranged at the bottoms of the two to-be-connected counterweight guide rails and are fixedly connected with the counterweight guide rails through bolts. The cross section of the connecting plate is of a U-shaped structure and is the same as the cross section of the bottom of each counterweight guide rail.
