ENHANCED CENTRAL GATEWAY FOR VEHICLE NETWORKING

The invention relates to an enhanced central gateway for vehicle networking. The central gateway of the vehicle includes a processor and a memory connected to a plurality of vehicle buses. The centralgateway for the vehicle receives raw data from an electronic control unit (ECU) via one of the vehicle buses, augments the raw data with availability information, classification information, and context information, publishes the raw data to a publishing/subscribing topic hosted to the memory, and subscribes at least a second ECU of the vehicle to the publishing/subscribing topic. A database of the central gateway is accessed according to a determined type of the raw data received by the central gateway of the vehicle from the electronic control unit (ECU) via the vehicle bus to augment the raw data with the availability information, the classification information, and the context information. The augmented data is provided to the publishing/subscribing topic hosted by the gateway to access to a communication net
