The invention discloses a coated spun yarn and spun yarn wrapping method for reducing the hair drop of a rabbit hair yarn. An ordinary filament is wound around the rabbit hair yarn and wraps the rabbit hair yarn. When a spun yarn is wrapped, a bobbin with a rabbit hair core yarn is unwound under the friction drive of a feed roller; the unwound core yarn bypasses a yarn guide roller, penetrates through a hollow tube of a hollow ingot and is merged with an outer wrap yarn unwound from an aluminum ingot tube which is inserted into the hollow ingot and rotated together with the hollow ingot at theguide wire position; the outer wrap yarn is wrapped around the core yarn with the high speed rotation of the hollow ingot and the aluminum ingot tube to form wrapped yarn; the wrapped yarn is drawn out of a drawing roller and wound onto the bobbin by a winding device.
