The invention provides a traffic light fault detection and control system. The system comprises a detection and driving control module, a main control module and a control platform. The detection anddriving control module is connected to traffic light. The detection and driving control module comprises a detection unit and a driving control unit. The detection unit and the driving control unit are connected. The detection and driving control module communicates detection information to the main control module. The main control module compares and analyzes the output detection information to determine whether fault processing needs to be performed on the traffic light according to a setting program.
