The method comprises the preparation steps of the PET derivative and the preparation steps of a printing wire rod, the preparation steps of the PET derivative comprise an esterification processing step and a polycondensation processing step, the esterification processing step comprises the following processes: adding diacid, diol, a catalyst, a heat stabilizer and an anti-oxidant in an esterification reactor, performing an esterification reaction at the temperature of 120-250 DEG C under pressure of 20 Kpa-100 Kpa, and reacting the materials for 0.5-3 h; after the esterification reaction is completed, heating the esterification reactor to the temperature of 200-270 DEG C, and performing reduced pressure polycondensation, reacting the materials for 1-3 h, and discharging to obtain the PET derivative.
