Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a high oxidation resistant graphite electrode and a preparation method thereof. The technical scheme includes: adopting 70-85wt% of petroleum coke, 10-20wt% of petroleum cokepowder and 4-12wt% of silicon powder as the raw materials, using modified phenolic resin accounting for 10-20wt% of the raw materials as the binder; firstly mixing petroleum coke micropowder with silicon powder to obtain mixed powder; then mixing the petroleum coke, adding modified phenolic resin and conducting mixing milling to obtain a mixture; adding the mixed powder into the mixture, conducting mixing milling, and carrying out cold compression molding and curing; conducting one roasting, one impregnation and high temperature graphitizing treatment to obtain the high oxidation resistant graphite electrode.
