The engine braking device comprises a front rockshaft, a rear rockshaft, a front solenoid valve seat, a front solenoid valve, a rear solenoid valve seat, a rear solenoid valve, air intake rocker arms and exhaust rocker arms; the front solenoid valve is arranged on the front solenoid valve seat; the rear solenoid valve is arranged on the rear solenoid valve seat; the front rockshaft is provided with the air intake rocker arms and the exhaust rocker arms of at least one cylinder, and the rear rockshaft is provided with the air intake rocker arms and the exhaust rocker arms of at least one cylinder; and the number of the air intake rocker arms and the exhaust rocker arms on the rear rockshaft is more than the number of the air intake rocker arms and the exhaust rocker arms arranged on the front rockshaft.
