The invention belongs to the field of a tool clamp in electric wire processing, and specifically relates to a single-strand wire straightening apparatus. The single-strand wire straightening apparatuscomprises a shell; a pressure holding block is glidingly connected in the shell; the sliding direction of the pressure holding block is the radial direction of the shell; the pressure holding block and the inner wall of the shell are both rotationally connected with variable speed gear groups and first and second belt wheels; the upper ends of the variable speed gear groups are meshed with low-speed big wheels while the lower ends are meshed with high-speed small wheels; the rotating shaft belts of the low-speed big wheels are connected with the rotating shaft of the first belt wheels; the rotating shaft belts of the high-speed small wheels are connected with the rotating shaft of the second belt wheels; and the wheel planes of the respective first and second belt wheels are positioned onthe same plane.
