An identification system realized on the basis of a main EMS (Engine Management System) is provided with an open and expanded rule library, transformer substation 10kV outgoing line switch separating brake types, including remote control, in-place operation, transient faults, permanent faults, load shedding and secret jumping, can be automatically and quickly identified. The identification rule comprises a rule expression and a corresponding conclusion, wherein the rule expression is formed by comparative judgment through logical operators. If type identification is successful, the type is stored in a relational database, and an XML (Extensive Markup Language) fileis generated and sent to a distribution network.
