Multi-face recognition and tracking system and method

The invention discloses a multi-face recognition and tracking system and method. The method comprises the following steps: step one, an acquisition module collects an image of a zebra crossing area and a signal lamp state in real time; if the signal lamp is detected to be a red light, the step two is performed; step two, a processing module processes the image and detects a face situation in the image; and if a face is detected, the step three is performed; step three, the processing module tracks a pedestrian with a violation behavior, determines whether the pedestrian walks in the street continuously based on a tracking result, and extracts at least three process images and face images of the pedestrian if the pedestrian walks in the street continuously. The multi-face recognition and tracking system and method have the following beneficial effects: multiple pedestrians in a video can be detected, tracked and captured; when a pedestrian runs the red light, multi-face capturing is carried out on the pedestri
