Battery pack housing structure, and electronic apparatus

The objective of the invention is to provide a battery pack housing structure such that when housing a battery pack, the battery pack can be positioned to a pre-fitting position without the need be tomaintained by hand or the like until the end. This battery pack housing structure is in an electronic apparatus having a housing portion for housing the battery pack, and is equipped with a battery cover covering the housing portion where the battery pack has been housed. The battery pack is approximately rectangular and flatly shaped, and has connection terminals provided on a first lateral surface, and battery pack lateral surface protrusions provided on a second lateral surface and on a third lateral surface, which are adjacent to the first lateral surface.
