Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for producing a solid catalyst component for alpha-olefin polymerization by bringing components (A1) to (A4) into contact with each other in an inert solventand, without washing such contact product with the inert solvent, allowing the contact product to stand and age for a waiting time of 3-180 days from the point at which all of the components (A1) to (A4) first come into contact with each other. Component (A1): a solid component containing titanium, magnesium, a halogen and an electron-donating compound as essential components. Component (A2): an alkenyl group-containing silane compound. Component (A3): an alkoxyl silane compound.
