Zusammenfassung:	In this production method for a cover that is attached to an outer ring of a hub unit, a nut is supported by a first protrusion on a first mold. A core bar comprising a cylindrical section that is inserted in the outer ring is supported by a second protrusion on a second mold. A resin material is injected into a cavity formed by the first mold and the second mold and a cover including the nut andthe core bar is formed. The cover is removed from the second mold by moving the first mold in a direction leading away from the second mold.
