The method comprises the steps of pausing reading of residual data in a data set and recording position information used for identifying data successfully read at last in the data set when an access service layer receives a notification message that the data set requested to be read by a client starts to be migrated in a data reading process; when a notification of data set migration completion is received, determining a new storage position of the data set according to an identifier of the data set; and continuing to read the residual data located after the data successfully read at last in the new storage position.
