The invention discloses a tray type elevator which comprises a rack. Two annular elevating chains vertically arranged in parallel are arranged on the rack; multiple supporting plate components with corresponding positions are arranged on the two elevating chains and are used for supporting the goods and elevating the goods at the same time; each elevating chain winds a respective driving wheel anda respective driven wheel; and a driving assembly is further arranged on the rack and is used for driving the two elevating chains to move synchronously so as to cyclically elevate.
