The invention discloses an environment-friendly hot melt adhesive for packaging of logistics and express cartons as well as a preparation method and an application of the hot melt adhesive. The hot melt adhesive is prepared from 10%-20% of naphthenic oil, 15%-35% of a high-molecular polymer, 5%-30% of a polyester polymer, 30%-50% of tackifying resin and 0.2%-0.8% of an antioxidant. The hot melt adhesive is applied to packaging of the logistics & express cartons and can have a good adhesion function on the cartons.
