The invention provides a method and a system for confirming an action range of a satellite cone sensor, wherein the method for confirming the action range of the satellite cone sensor comprises the following steps of 1), obtaining a current-time satellite position, a speed and a sensor central optical axis orientation, and simultaneously reading a semi-cone angle parameter of the cone sensor; 2),calculating an end point coordinate P of each ray vector; 3), through a cone sensor action range calculating module, determining an intersection condition between each ray and earth, and obtaining theposition relation between the action range of the cone sensor and the earth; and 4), inputting the calculated coordinate value of the actual action range of the cone sensor into an integrated displaymodel for displaying and outputting an effect to a screen.
