Novel antibacterial PET fiber and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a novel antibacterial PET fiber and a preparation method thereof. The novel antibacterial PET fiber consists of a composite antibacterial powder body, the composite antibacterial powder body is a mixture of carrier resin and an antibacterial agent which is adsorbed on the surface of the carrier surface and contains Cu+ ions, and a core layer is PET fiber forming resin. Theantibacterial agent containing Cu+ ions is formed by using a nanometer carbon material for wrapping Cu+ salts. By adopting the nanometer carbon material as the protective substance, protective layersare formed around cuprous salts. The protective layers can not only have air-permeable performance but also make cuprous salts exist in a Cu+ form, and therefore persistent stability of the antibacterial performance is achieved.
