Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an automatic welding device and method for horizontal supporting legs of engineering machinery equipment. The automatic welding device comprises a driving positioner, a drivenpositioner and a welding robot arranged between the driving positioner and the driven positioner. The driving positioner comprises a rotatable driving gripper. The driving gripper is provided with afirst pressing assembly for pressing the upper surfaces of the to-be-welded horizontal supporting legs. The driven positioner is provided with a rotatable driven gripper. The driven gripper is provided with a second pressing assembly for pressing the side faces of the to-be-welded horizontal supporting legs.
