The method comprises the following steps: while receiving a storage instruction of a file, detecting multiple index real-time values of multiple types of storage devices in a state index; according to the multiple index real-time values, selecting a target storage device from the multiple types of the storage devices; storing the file in thetarget storage device. The method is capable of, while receiving the storage instruction of the file, detecting the multiple index real-time values of the multiple types of the storage devices in thestate index; according to the multiple index real-time values, selecting the target storage device from the multiple types of the storage devices; and storing the file in the target storage device. The multiple types of the storage devices can be deployed in the same instrument, and the state indexes, such as IOPS and throughput bandwidth, can be combined to comprehensively evaluate the performance of the storage devices
