Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a robot polishing method and system based on visual inspection. The system comprises a robot, a shielding case, a polishing belt sander, a computer, an end fixture for clampinga workpiece, and a camera for acquiring images. The camera is arranged in the shielding case; the robot is connected with the end fixture; the computer is connected with the robot, the camera and thepolishing belt sander; the computer comprises a workpiece moving module, a defect detecting module and a defect processing module. According to the robot polishing method and the system based on visual inspection provided by the invention, through integrating workpiece defect detection and workpiece polishing, the production efficiency is greatly improved. The robot polishing method and the system based on visual inspection provided by the invention is excellent in performance and can be widely applied to the technical field of workpiece processing.
