Monitoring system and method for gasoline particulate filter

The invention provides a monitoring system for a gasoline particulate filter. The system comprises an engine, the gasoline particulate filter, a first exhaust pressure sensor, a second exhaust pressure sensor, a control module and a monitoring module; the gasoline particulate filter is arranged on an exhaust pipe connected to the engine; the first exhaust pressure sensor and the second exhaust pressure sensor are arranged at the front end and the rear end of the gasoline particulate filter and are used for collecting the exhaust pressure information and sending the collected exhaust pressure information to the control module; the control module is used for controlling the operation of the engine and sending the collected monitoring data to the monitoring module; and the monitoring module is used for receiving the monitoring data and judging whether a preset monitoring condition is met or not based on the received monitoring data so as to execute monitoring operation.
