The invention discloses a subsonic velocity mixing layer wind tunnel which comprises a drainage system and further comprises a stabilizing section and a testing section, wherein the drainage system isused for introducing two strands of airflow with different temperatures and speeds, namely a first airflow and a second airflow; the stabilizing section is connected to an outflow end of the drainagesystem and is used for respectively rectifying and delivering the first airflow and the second airflow; the testing section is connected to an outflow end of the stabilizing section and is used for performing shear mixing on the first airflow and the second airflow; and an optical observation window for implementing an optical non-contact testing technology is formed in the testing section.
