According to the method, terpene materials are taken as raw materials, and crude products containing terpene resin are prepared through low temperature polymerization in aromatic solvent by taking AlCl3 as a main catalyst and chlorotrimethylsilane as a cocatalyst; the crude products containing the colorless terpeneresin are prepared through high-pressure hydrogenation under the action of metal catalysts after hot wash and centrifugal water removal are conducted; the catalysts are recovered by filtering, the colorless terpene resin is obtained by conducting reduced pressure distillation on filtrate, and substituted cyclanes, pinane or p-menthane and hydrogenated liquid terpene resin are simultaneously obtained.
