The invention relates to an immersed thermal management system for a battery pack and an automobile comprising the thermal management system. The immersed thermal management system for the battery pack comprises a battery pack casing, a power battery, a liquid-liquid heat exchanger, a submersible electric pump and a liquid storage tank, wherein the power battery, the liquid-liquid heat exchanger and the submersible electric pump are all arranged in the sealed battery pack casing; the battery pack casing is filled with a heat exchange medium which is in a liquid state; the power battery, the liquid-liquid heat exchanger and the submersible electric pump are all immersed in the heat exchange medium; the liquid storage tank is in fluid communication with the battery pack casing.
