The method includes the following steps: recording a location of the mobile terminal in a target time period, determiningat least one target area according to the location, and acquiring description information of each target area, wherein the time that the mobile terminal stays in each target area exceeds a preset timethreshold value, and the distance that the mobile terminal moves within each target area is less than a preset distance threshold value; generating track record information that indicates the location movement of the mobile terminal in the target time period, wherein the track record information includes description information of at least one target area and all target areas.
