Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides an oriented film inspection method and system. The oriented film inspection method comprises the steps that a coating unit forms an oriented film on a display mother plate; an inspection unit obtains the number of defective structures on the oriented film; the inspection unit generates the feeding reference quantity of an idle base plate according to the number of the defective structures; a control system determines the number of the idle base plate according to the feeding reference quantity of the idle base plate; the control system feeds the corresponding quantity ofidle base plates into the coating unit according to the number of the idle base plates; the coating unit forms an idle film layer on the idle base plate.
