The invention discloses an automatic product identification method. The automatic product identification method comprises the following steps: A, powering on a device, wherein the device is provided with a working table-board, enabling a display on the working table-board to automatically enter an operating picture, and the working table-board is made of a transparent material; B, installing a positioning seat corresponding to a product to be detected on the working table-board, and placing the product into the positioning seat; C, photographing the product, by a camera apparatus arranged inside the device, identifying the product, and comparing the product with a qualified product; and D, after the product is identified as being qualified in step C, enabling the display to display qualification, and printing a tag by virtue of a bar code printer; and after the product is identified as being unqualified in step C, enabling the display to display disqualification, and giving an alarm byan alarming apparatus.
