Portable safety device

The invention provides a portable safety device. The portable safety device comprises a triggering unit, an image capturing unit, a satellite navigation unit and a wireless transmission unit. Users can start the image capturing unit and the satellite navigation unit through the triggering unit, and the image capturing unit captures a license plate image of a boarding vehicle. The satellite navigation unit works in a mute mode and periodically generates site information corresponding to the position of the portable safety device. The license plate image and the site information are transmittedto a remote device through the wireless transmission unit, so that remote operators can conform the vehicle information and monitor driving conditions of the vehicle. 本发明提供种便携式安全装置，该装置包括有触发单元、影像撷取单元、卫星导航单元以及无线传输单元。使用者可透过触发单元来启动影像撷取单元以及卫星导航单元，影像撷取单元为撷取搭乘车辆的车牌影像。而卫星导航单元在静音模式下进行运作，周期性地产生对应此可携式安全装置的位置的地点信息。而车牌影像及地点信息通过无线传输单元传送至远端装置。因此，远端人员可确认此车辆信息并监控此车辆行驶状况。
