The preparation method comprises the following steps of: reacting hydrogen peroxide and succinic anhydride in a water medium at a temperature of 5-12 DEG C, wherein hydrogen peroxide adopts an aqueous solution, a reaction molar ratio of succinic anhydride to hydrogen peroxide is 1 to (1-1.7), the total molar ratio of succinic anhydride to water in a reaction system is 1 to (6-20), and reaction time is 1-3 hours; fiercely stirring in a reaction process, and standing, crystallizing and filtering after the reaction is completed,thereby obtaining succinyl peroxide.
