The novel face miller structurally comprises a support rod, a horizontal movement mechanism, a movable motor box, a controller, a U-shaped protecting base, a milling cutter mechanism, a dust collecting device, a hydraulic cylinder, a top plate, stand columns, a press plate, a bottom plate, a hydraulic lifting mechanism, a height-adjustable disc, a machine body and support feet. The novel face miller for the aluminium profiles has beneficial effects as follows: the face miller is provided with the dust collecting device, the dust collecting device is indirectly powered by the motor box for dust collection, an another motor is not required for a fan arranged in the dust collecting device, so that operating cost is reduced while the weight of the dust collecting device is reduced, dust produced in the operating process can be collected in time during working of the face miller, dust is prevented from splashing all around,workload of an operator
