The casting method comprises the following steps that (1) all the forming chilling blocks needed by a barrel casting are designed out and are machined for standbyapplication; and (2) a sand core graph with a forming chilling block containing cavity is designed out, the resin sand core is manufactured through 3D printing according to the sand core graph, afterthe resin sand core is printed and manufactured, the machined forming chilling blocks are assembled in the cavity of the resin sand core, then the outer surface of the resin sand core is coated with alcohol-based coating, then the resin sand core is ground to be smooth, after baking, differential pressure pouring is carried out, and the barrel casting can be obtained after cooling.
