Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the technical field of corn breeding, and in particular relates to a method for producing a corn mutant by utilizing EMS mutagenesis. The method comprises the steps of collecting pollen, performing pollen mutagenesis treatment and performing artificial pollination, wherein the collected pollen is added into an EMS-paraffin oil solution after anther is removed and is then subjected to mutagenesis according to the following steps: (1) irradiating below an ultraviolet lamp for 30 to 60 seconds; (2) stirring away from light for 20 to 30 minutes; (3) irradiating below the ultraviolet lamp for 15 to 30 seconds; and (4) stirring away from light for 15 to 20 minutes; and before artificial pollination, the cornsilk of a to-be-pollinated corn plant is coated with the EMS-paraffin oil solution to obtain mutagenesis treatment filaments and then artificial pollination is conducted.
