APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF VOICE COIL MOTOR AND METHOD THEREOF

The invention discloses an apparatus for controlling the operation of a voice coil motor and a method thereof. The present invention relates to the control of an operation of a voice coil motor (hereinafter referred to as "VCM") for moving a lens of a camera module and, particularly, to a method for controlling an operation of a VCM, which can reduce noise and shorten a movement time of a lens during the initial operation or landing of the lens.
