The invention provides a catalytic synthesis method and application of a nysted reagent. The nysted reagent is an organic solution with a structure shown as a formula (1): the formula (1) is shown inthe description; the catalytic synthesis method of the nysted reagent comprises the following steps: under the protection of inert gas, adding a catalyst copper compound shown as a formula (II) and active zinc powder into an organic solvent; dropwise adding dibromomethane under certain temperature; then raising the temperature and reacting until the zinc powder reacts completely, so as to obtain milky white turbid liquid, namely the nysted reagent.
