Zusammenfassung:	The invention uses cotton seed oil as raw material, the production of oleinic acid is conducted through the improved saponification and acidification and the butyl oleate is prepared through the improved esterification, then the sulfonated butyl oleate is prepared through sulfonation, or sodium sulfonated butyl oleate is prepared through neutralization with lye. The sulfonated oil (or its salt) produced by said technology features high yield, high quality and low price. If an appropriate amount of triethanolamine is added in the course of neutralization for excess acid with lye after sulfonation, the product quality can be further improved.
