The method comprises: establishing a page configuration table of web pages which needs monitoring; every time when monitoring period reaches, automatically triggering webpage state monitoring on corresponding web pages according to corresponding monitoring modes, respectively a link monitoring mode and ascreen capture similarity monitoring mode; counting links whose status codes are abnormal and/or binary web page screen captures whose similarity is abnormal, to obtain a monitoring result of monitored web pages.
