Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a method for purifying a eutrophic water body by utilizing water hyacinths, grass carps and bellamya. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, selecting the water hyacinths to absorb nitrogen and phosphorus in the eutrophic water body; secondly, selecting the grass carps to eat roots of the water hyacinths, so as to control the excessive propagation of the water hyacinths; finally, selecting the bellamya to eat organic fragments including excrement of the grass carps, so as to further reduce the nitrogen and the phosphorus in the eutrophic water body. By adopting the synergistic effect of the water hyacinths, the grass carps and the bellamya, the total nitrogen content of the eutrophic water body is reduced by 78 percent and the total phosphorus content isreduced by 70 percent; the eutrophic water body is purified in an efficient and low-cost manner.
