A chemical synthesis technology is adopted, the prepared product is uniform and stable, and customization can be realized. Raw materials contain no heavy metals and have advantages and characteristics of being green and environmentally friendly, and the nanomaterial, namely, the nanorod dumbbell, with excellent performance is prepared. The nanomaterial has the polarization property and excellent optical property, the nanorod can be widely applied to bioluminescence labeling, display illumination and other fields, the actual illumination field is focused in the research, the nanorod can save cost and greatly improve light output efficiency as a luminous layer, meanwhile, the attenuation characteristics of devices in different colors are similar due to adoption of the homonuclear nanorod, and color drifting of displays due to different luminous materials is reduced.
