The program recording method comprises the steps of obtaining a target event ID of a to-be-recorded program corresponding to a program recording task and obtaining preset playing time period of the to-be-recorded program according to the target event ID; determining detection time according to the preset playing time period, and detecting whether playing event change exists in the to-be-recorded program or not when the time reaches the detection time; and recording the program played in thepreset playing time period if the playing event change does not exists.
