The distributed access control system comprises a network server layer composed of a network server and a third party platform interface, an area management layer composed of a local terminal connected with the network server in a TCP/IP manner and a ZigBee coordinator connected with the local terminal by virtue of a serial port, a ZigBee wireless network transmission layer composed of multiple ZigBee terminal nodes wirelessly connected with the ZigBee coordinator by virtue of a ZigBee routerand an access control node control layer composed of an access control node controller connected with the ZigBee terminal nodes by virtue of a serial port.
