Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a device and method for measuring a thermal expansion coefficient of a solid material. The device comprises an auto-collimator, a vacuum chamber, a single-side plane reflector,an electric lifting mechanism and a temperature adjusting device. When the temperature of the temperature is changed, the tilt angle of the plane reflector is changed and the variation of the tilt angle can be measured by the auto-collimator so as to obtain a thermal expansion coefficient of the material. The device has a simple principle and is easy to operate. The device and method can test anysolid material sample and have a wide application range. Compared with the existing thermal expansion coefficient measurement scheme, the method is free of a complicated light path, reduces measurement difficulty, reduces a device cost and improves measurement accuracy of a thermal expansion coefficient.
